About GreenSEA

An Erasmus+ CBHE Project

Why GreenSEA

SEA HEIs face urgent skills gaps in renewable energy, circular economy, and digital maritime solutions. Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand must supply a workforce for 6.6 million new green jobs by 2030, yet most curricula and teaching resources lag behind European Green Deal standards.

How We Respond

Our consortium delivers a coordinated Erasmus+ CBHE action that:

  • Modernises bachelor and master programmes with EU-aligned Green Deal content.
  • Builds a digital Education & Research Community with shared e-learning resources.
  • Upskills academic staff through blended training and mentoring by EU experts.
  • Connects EU and SEA labs for joint research in marine, offshore, and urban sustainability.
  • Expands inclusive access through virtual mobility and targeted support for underrepresented learners.
